- 45 years old and living together with my wife in Hamme (East-Flanders)
- Proud dad of 2 athletic sons - both are currently in high school. Did I mention my sons are athletic? My oldest son is a skilled soccer player (playing with the big boys) and my youngest son is a cyclist - and I… I am their taxi driver (and biggest fan) .
- On a professional level, I started as an independent consultant 12 years ago with a strong focus on IT infrastructure and project management (Modern Workplace, Cloud and Cybersecurity)
- I have a great passion for systems: my goal is always to plan for the medium term and to deliver stable environments in a structural way.
- Over the years I have built up a lot of expertise in Citrix and VMware as a consultant. I came into contact with all layers of IT: networks, storage, hardware up to the business applications.
- I am valued as trusted advisor and driving force behind various IT projects, partly due to my broad understanding of infrastructures, programming and experience with the cloud.
- My greatest achievement is when I took the lead at an international company where we have built a Digital Factory platform in Azure, some key results: - 50 manufacturing plants linked to the Cloud by the use of IoT - Better insights across the manufacturing process - and as a result, increased production levels
- Acquainted with both SME and enterprise environments
- Helping IT departments transform and better integrate with the business is a must as a digital accelerator.
- Also strongly value team work - and moreover, I love to coach people and help them grow.
- Als digital challenger blijf ik een sterke achtergrond in infrastructuur hebben waarbij ik voornamelijk een cloud-first strategie hanteer, waarbij eindgebruiker en de business centraal staat. Bovenop deze strategie zal ik er steeds zorgen dat we er een vleugje (of eerder een grote schep) security aan toevoegen.
