I was born in 1975 in Ostend, Belgium, and got hooked on technology in 1985 when a bulky PC/XT landed in our home. It wasn’t long before I started coding—and even sold a few programs. That early drive to solve real-world problems through technology still fuels everything I do today.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve led technology-driven initiatives across industries, managing teams of up to 50 people. Along the way, I learned that sustainable progress doesn’t start with tools—it starts with people, processes, and sharp thinking. Technology follows.
For the last decade, I’ve worked as an independent management consultant and fractional CIO, guiding Belgian SMEs through complex digital and business transformations. I support leadership teams by combining strategic insight with hands-on execution. I approach challenges like a chess game: always thinking several moves ahead, weighing risks and opportunities, and adapting the strategy as the game unfolds. Clients value my clarity, drive, and ability to deliver real impact.
My expertise spans ERP (from telco-specific to Microsoft Dynamics), e-commerce, and iPaaS integrations—a personal passion. I’ve led challenging projects in telecom and accounting, often advocating for open standards like PEPPOL to reduce friction and enable scale.
I love designing digital systems and business models from scratch—often by blending in-house expertise with cross-industry insights. I focus on scalable solutions, especially for volume-driven businesses where digital can be a multiplier.
Being independent from software vendors and implementation partners allows me to stay neutral and focused on what really benefits the client. My ambition? Helping Belgian SMEs stay competitive and future-proof through creativity, technology, and structured change—always thinking a few moves ahead.
